About Nexus Market

We have been running Nexus Market as a Tor darknet market since 2021. Built by people who got burned by exit scams and decided to do better.

Nexus Market team and infrastructure overview

Our story

Nexus Market started in 2021, right after a string of major darknet markets either got seized or exit-scammed their users. A group of us — vendors, buyers and developers who had lost money and trust — got together on a small forum and asked a simple question: why does every darknet market eventually turn on its users?

The answer was usually the same. Centralized escrow, no multisig option, admins who knew too much about their users, servers in one place. So we built Nexus differently. Distributed infrastructure, multisig escrow from day one, PGP-signed communication, no logs, no KYC. We wanted a market that could not run off with your money even if we wanted to.

We are not claiming to be perfect. No darknet market is. But we have been here for five years, we have resolved thousands of disputes fairly, and we have never exit-scammed. That is the baseline we hold ourselves to. See how that plays out in our services and in the vendors we work with.

What we stand for

Three things guide every decision we make about how Nexus Market operates.

  • Privacy is not optional

We do not log IPs, we do not keep chat history after orders finalize, we do not ask who you are. Your PGP key is your identity on Nexus. If you want to stay anonymous, we help you stay anonymous.

  • Funds belong to users

Multisig escrow means we never hold full control of your money. Two of three keys are needed to move funds — yours, the vendor's and ours. No single party can run off with anything. That is the whole point.

  • Disputes get resolved

When something goes wrong — a vendor does not ship, a buyer claims non-delivery falsely — our team reviews the evidence and makes a call. We are not perfect, but we are fair and we are fast. Most disputes close within 48 hours.

The people behind Nexus Market

We do not share real names or faces. Here are the roles and what they do.

  • Admin_01Founder, infrastructure

Runs the servers, manages onion mirrors, handles the PGP signing keys for official announcements.

  • Admin_02Operations, disputes

Reviews dispute cases, communicates with vendors and buyers during escalations, approves new vendor accounts.

  • Dev_03Development, security

Writes and audits the market code, manages bug bounty submissions, pushes security updates.

Nexus Market milestones

A short timeline of how we got here and what happened along the way.

  1. Nexus Market launches on Tor with a single onion link, about 40 vendors and multisig escrow from day one. We start small on purpose — we want to build trust before we scale.

  2. We hit 500 vendors and introduce PGP-signed mirror announcements after a wave of phishing sites copies our onion URL. Buyer guide and vendor guide published.

  3. First major DDoS attack hits us. We rebuild infrastructure across distributed nodes and add onion mirror rotation. Dispute resolution team expands to handle growing volume.

  4. Over 1,200 active vendors, 12,700 reviews averaging 4.8/5. We remain one of the longest-running darknet markets without an exit scam or major seizure.
